The field of mobility is experiencing an accelerated process of groundbreaking technological development. This often precedes human-generated operations such as regulation, infrastructure adjustments, implementation, and more. Based on the premise that transportation impacts everyone - in fact, it turns all individuals into users – MOVE’s design research strives to produce solutions and suggestions that are human-centered and inclusive.

Guiding Principles

Intuitive
Interaction should be intuitive. Users should be able to understand and use a design immediately. 

Subtle
Design should be subtle, built on nuances in order to be understandable without creating clutter and overstimulation.

Sincere
The lack of trust and the ambiguity that can be created when people meet new technologies should be addressed with a relatable, honest way of communicating. 

Dialogue-enabling
An interaction can and should enable dialogue and acknowledge the user.
