About MOVE

MOVE  was established as part of an international academic collaboration between the DLX Design Lab, Institute of Industrial Science, at the University of Tokyo and Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, in 2019. 

Together we aim to design the future of mobility while addressing cross-cultural challenges from a humanist, holistic perspective. 

We collaborate – both physically and remotely – to come up with solutions for future mobility, build prototypes, and develop new working and creative thinking methodologies.

We’re incorporating the knowledge of an international network of industry and academic mobility experts from Israel, Japan, and Europe, with an integrative approach that considers a wide range of domains: driving experiences from level 3 to level 5, public transportation, and urban design. Our main focus is the prospective study of autonomous vehicles’ entrance into our everyday lives and the expected changes they will bring about.
